Well I have moved into my new room at OWU...Gamma 2 Wert Hall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really liking this semester so far i am hanging with old friends and making new ones.... New students from Vanard are awesome and it will be a joy to get to know them and then there are a couple new students, Brandon is a guy from Indiana and he know was Ivanhoe's is. YAY. Well time for a shower before my first class of day a 12:20...lol and that is my last class

Over this semester I have learned so much. And that excites me. I have learned more out of the class room then in. I have this strong pull just to go. I know I am supposed to be in school. Yet at the same time I know I need to grow up a lot before I am ready for where God wants me later in life. I know so little about this world yet my heart still hurts for it every second of everyday. I constantly pray for this world not just my friends but the whole world. I have so much to learn. But I feel like I need to be out there. The pain in my soul right now is so immense it hurts to even write about the pain I see in this world. I know God wants me to GO and be a light. Sometimes that task seems over whelming like I don't know where to start. I am learning that being a light in the darkness in stead of bring the darkness to the light is what God wants for me. I bet I feel like Paul felt when he said I do things I do not want to do; yet I do not do what I want to do. Cause I am a human I am going to screw up. But i see what God wants and I strive for it.
As a Light I meant to be on a lamp stand as a city on a hill I can not be hidden.
I want so much to be more like Christ but there is this war for my soul going on and I feel the struggle. And i feel the struggle for the World and it is scary the world is running away and I know the outcome but I still see the struggle.

My friends here on campus are awesome and will be missed over break but i am ready to come home

Well my group of friends is awesome, Albert, Kyle, Donovan, Jacob, Andy, Chris, Josh, Doug, thanks guys for being my really close friends and thanks that i can trust you. And to April, Arynn, Erin, Cassie, Bethany, Ruth, Nadia, and all the rest of my friends i wanted to thankyou for being here this semester i am glad y'all are here. We have had a blast. Fun times!!!!! Hey friends and family back home thanks for supporting me as i go through this adventure. Continue to pray for me as i continue this journey.

• Artist Creates 'Public Prayer Booths' in NYC
There's a pair of booths in New York City that could almost be taken for typical phone booths except for the side panels that depict folded hands and/or the word "prayer" instead of "telephone" and/or the fact that there's a flip-down kneeler. • Gay Anarchists Storm Church in Michigan
Last Sunday, a band of about 30 gays stormed Mount Hope Church in Lansing, Michigan. Some were well-dressed so they could blend in with the church-goers and wreak havoc inside the church by pulling fire alarms, throwing fliers at churchgoers, yelling at parishioners and storming the pulpit while holding up a large rainbow colored flag that read, "IT'S OKAY TO BE GAY! BASH BACK!" Others dressed in black and pink remained outside beating on buckets, shouting "Jesus was a homo" on a megaphone and carrying an upside-down pink cross.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue addressed this issue, "The real story here is the refusal of the mainstream media to cover what is surely one of the most disturbing events of 2008. i am really striving hard to learn how to read people and react better and see what is really going on...as a college student i am looking back on my childhood ans seeing that i don't really know people like i should...moving so much i am seeing has put me in a soial bubble because i didn't socialize much with out an adult always present and with me just learning how to be an adult i am learning i never really learned how to socialize with people in a long tearm way...sure i know how to meet and connect with people but a lot of people i have meet over the years have nearly forgoten about me...i have made impressions on people and i do have several deep lasting relationships...but a lot of those relationshps are with adults who are older and wiser....i have several really good close in age friends but i have not grown up with anyone person over the years...but it has taught me a lot....i learned many many different things then i would have if i had grown up in the same house but not moving around....i am so greatful for my perents but i do wish they would have givn me more freedom so i wouldn't be overwhelmed with the freedoms of school.....i was sheltered and never really had the opportunity to be away from my perents and response able adults till now so i was completely taken by suprise because but i dont really understand people of this world at a really supper deep leval i know about people and i had some experence with people but nothing long tearm and i am sure a lot of people have forgot about me that i still remember..i wish my perents would have given me more freedom to hangout with friends then i had....i love my mom and dad so much...but really i was a very sheltered child and have much growing up to do and much to learn about the world...Glory to GOd for my perents and for the life in which i was raised

Polygamy is it wrong?

Well I have this one Professor who says that sense God set up Polygamy in other cultures it is ok and God has no problem with that....Well let me introduce you to the folly of that logic....If God set up Polygamy as a form of marriage and God says nothing against it then it is logical to assume that sense God set rules and guide lines for Polygamy then that God set up slavery and that slavery is ok cause God set up the rules to govern slavery...Let us look at the absurdity of this Slavery is wrong right....That is according to our western Culture according to prof then sense it is wrong in one culture then it is ok in other cultures...Prof said that it is ok that polygamy is an economic form of life style...well saying that one thing is true for one culture and not for another under God is absurd cause God is unchanging and is the same to each culture....This means that if one thing is horribly wrong in one culture based on God's Law then it should be wrong to every who believes in God's Law....this whole cultural relativism is wrong...Truth is not based on Culture...Truth is Based on God's Holy Word....well what do u guys think..come on tel me txt me or skype me or post here about it....

Post-Modern vs. Modernism

Well we had a great speaker in Chapel....Tim Parcell....He spoke on truth...what is truth.....Modernism says there is only one way to get to heaven and truth is scientific and can be found with reason....Post-modernism say truth is more Physiological and truth varies based on what u feel...i don't agree with the completly being modernist or a postmodernist...both have good ideas...but i think we should run streight down the road not fighting about it because both are not completely Biblical...what do you all think tell me about it...

Yeah...well....i "watched" a movie with a lady friend till just about 30 minutes ago....YAY...I am really interested in getting to know her better...Bethany Lucas is really cool...she is from Cali sweet...i know right....lol.....her Dad is a Wesleyan pastor and she is a music major she is the bomb at music theory and practice..like aural skills and all the stuff that makes my brain hurt...well i need sleep cause i got to go to work tomorrow and i am going to chill with Bethany till then tomorrow...YAY

I have the option of graduating after my four years here at OWU with a BA in Ministry to the Persecuted Church, a minor in linguistics and on top of that a Masters in Divinity having all my ordination classes under my belt as well. So I can do a two year go-net term and be ordained in 6 years total.

Well Obviously I was not even born yet but this was a momentous day in my life and the life of two very dear families. There was a joyous occasion that took place in Pennsylvania. My Parents Ken Davis and Judy Sheets became as the Bible says one. In this way, a man will leave his mothers home and become one with the woman. To this day they are still a model of how to live a Christ like life in everything you do. My mom and Dad have been a testament to the institution of marriage for 21 years. Yes they have had their ups and downs what couple has not that have been together that long. I don't even know what being alive for 21 years is like let alone being with one person for that long is like. Well What i am trying to say is thanks Mom and Dad for the blessing and the lewssons you have given me over my life. I hope u have another blessed and happy 21 years of marriage (atleast).

Glory to God for the home He placed me in....I truly do thank him for my Family...with my parent's anniversary fast approaching i wanted to throw them a shout out....Thanks for the Life you have let me be part of....thank you for the moving, the trails, the love, the laughing moments, the dinner table conversations, the long car rides on a one on one level or with the whole family, etc...
Thanks for the life you shared with me the experiences the wisdom and knowledge...I truly do love you Mom and Dad ...thanks for the affection you showed me, the affection you each other, and for Agape Love you showed e and the rest of the Family...Thanks for the example you lived that i watched...Thanks for the love you showed other people who I thought didn't deserve it.. Thanks for living a biblical life... thanks for the willingness you have shown to grow and your lessons on being teachable and for modeling that quality in your lives...

People keep asking me if i am nervous with me leaving in 10 days. Why would I be nervous? What reason would I have for being nervous. A little apprehension is ok but why do people keep asking if I am nervous. God has all the plans laid out for me. He knows the plans he has for me the plans to prosper me and not to harm me. I am not saying I will not have any bad time of course i will. But with God on myside and leading the way how can I be nervous. He has it controlled, why do I need to know? God has been and will be working on my plans. I had thought that it was the plans he wanted me to dobut He is teaching me it is not about my plans or what i think should be His will. It is about learning and doing his will not about what i think should be in his will. So am I nervous? Not at all!!!!!!!!! God has blessed me with the ability to meet people and connect. So I have no reasi=on to be nervous about people. And school work should be fun so why worry. God has it all taken care of. He feeds the birds of the air are we not worth more then a bird. Well that is about it.

Another great milestone in my younger sisters life has occurred she has been given her first non babysitting job YAY!!!!!!!! She will be working at one of the local restaurants. Way to go sis.

God he has taught me to follow after him everyday. He has taught me that i need to die to myself die to not only my sin, but also my pride, my attitude, and my desires. He has taught me that I don't have my desires if i am dead to myself. That i need humility and that he will use me if he wants to and if his plan is for me to have a church in the middle of nowhere by myself. Glory to God in the Highest. Me 230 pounds vs gravity and a Tree

So today was interesting. To say the least. Me and my family (minus one) worked in the yard all day. That was ok and all. But those of you who know me and my accident proneness. So my dad and i were clearing trees and stumps after a wind storm.

Well there was this one tree that felt the need to come down and being good Christian macho men. We decided to help it down. With a chainsaw. "Yeah this is going to be easy." Not! Well we commenced to take it down.

The first part of taking it off its stump was easy enough except the part were it got caught in two other trees. So my dad said you hold the bottom heavy part while i cut the top part off so we can dispose of it. And being the obedient son i am i said sure dad. So dad started cutting the tree above my head while i held it. It went ok intill he got all the way through and the weight of it fell on me. This sudden movement of weight caught me of gaurd and it commenced to crush my hand. It is ok. though just black and blue and red all over.

So me vs. a tree round 2 ended in pain again.

I had a great time at camp meeting new people and chilling with old friends. The Lord really there it was great. And we had fun times swimming.But the worship and fellowship and discipleship times were the best.

Camp Who Are We?

As Christians who are we really?
This week is really challenged me. At camp an amazing Man of God challenged us to be more then just Christians. Did you all know that the term Christian was a derogatory term back in the day to the first Disciples. There are stats that say that over 80 % of Americans call themselves Christians. What a joke! Of that 80% only 19% are active in their churches and read their bibles and believe there is only one way to heaven and actively share their faith. That is sad folks. 20% are not active in their churches and believe mostly the same as the active Christians but do not actively share their faith. It gets worse folks.
26% of "Christians" are liturgical this is mostly younger people. Age 18 to 28 who say they own a bible but they don't read it. They believe that there is more then one way to God. That is sad. And then there are two other groups that make up the rest that claim to be Christians that are more of culteral christians who can't even tell where Matthew is in the bible. (It is in the new testament for you peoplewho don't read their bibles) They also believe the there is more then one to get to heaven.WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!! IT says in John 14:6 "Jesus answered' I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father but through Me"

My last teen camp as a camper starts today.....sad day and happy day...it is sad because it is my last camp and teen camp i have enjoyed over the years. It is also sad because I will not have my computer or cell. Sad day. It is happy times because i enjoy the growth times @ camp and the chillin with friends. Pictures will come.
